These terms apply to all bookings, purchases and transactions made through Art Manu (Manuchekhra Olsson), including bookings of workshops and artist demos, as well as purchases of artworks and other physical products.

By making a booking or purchase on the website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

2. Booking and payment for workshops

When booking a workshop, a registration fee of SEK 1,500 is paid at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

The registration fee is non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by Art Manu.

The remaining workshop fee must be paid no later than 60 days before the start of the workshop, unless otherwise stated on the product page or in communication from Art Manu.

If full payment is not received within this time frame, Art Manu reserves the right to cancel the spot. In that case, the registration fee will not be refunded.

3. Booking and payment for artist demos

When booking an artist demo, the full price for the demo spot is paid at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Demo spots are not subject to a registration fee.

Because the artist demo has a limited number of participants, takes place on a specific date and during a specific time period, the booking is binding once the purchase has been completed. The demo spot is therefore non-refundable, except if the artist demo is cancelled by Art Manu or if otherwise required by mandatory law.

4. Cancellation by the participant and refund policy for workshops

If you need to cancel your participation in a workshop, you must contact Art Manu at hello@artmanu.se.

For cancellation of a workshop, the following applies:

More than 60 days before the workshop starts: All amounts paid, except the registration fee of SEK 1,500, will be refunded.

Between 60 and 30 days before the workshop starts: 50% of the total workshop fee, excluding the registration fee of SEK 1,500, will be refunded.

Less than 30 days before the workshop starts: No refund will be made.

Note — The registration fee is refunded only if the workshop is cancelled by Art Manu.

In the event of illness or other special circumstances, participants may contact Art Manu at hello@artmanu.se. Participants may then, at Art Manu’s discretion, be offered a discount on a future workshop. This is not an automatic right and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Cancellation by the participant and refund policy for artist demos

The demo spot is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the participant because the artist demo has a limited number of participants, takes place on a specific date, and during a specific time period.

If you are unable to attend, you can contact Art Manu at hello@artmanu.se. Art Manu may, at its own discretion, approve the transfer of the demo spot to another person in accordance with section 8.

6. Right of withdrawal for workshops and artist demos

Art Manu’s workshops and artist demos normally take place on a specific date or during a specific time period.

For such services, the statutory right of withdrawal normally does not apply under the exception in the Swedish Distance Contracts Act for cultural events, leisure activities and similar services that are to be provided on a specific date or during a specific time period.

This means that a booking of a workshop or artist demo is normally binding once the purchase has been completed, and that Art Manu’s cancellation terms apply instead of the statutory right of withdrawal.

If a particular workshop or artist demo is legally subject to a right of withdrawal, private consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the time of booking, provided that no exception applies.

7. Cancellation or changes by Art Manu

Art Manu reserves the right to:

Cancel a workshop or artist demo due to an insufficient number of bookings, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

Change the instructor, venue, date, times or schedule if necessary.

Make minor adjustments to the content, venue or format without this giving rise to a right to a refund, provided that the main content and value of the workshop or artist demo remain unchanged.

If a workshop is cancelled by Art Manu, participants will be contacted via the email address provided at the time of booking.

Participants will then receive a full refund of all fees paid, including the registration fee of SEK 1,500, or the opportunity to transfer their booking to another workshop if a spot is available.

If an artist demo is cancelled by Art Manu, those who have booked a demo spot will be contacted via the email address provided at the time of booking.

Those who have booked a demo spot will then receive a refund for paid demo spots or the opportunity to transfer their booking to another artist demo if a spot is available.

Art Manu is not responsible for the participant’s own costs in connection with a workshop or artist demo, such as travel, accommodation, materials, loss of income or other personal expenses, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

8. Transfer of booking or demo spot

A participant may transfer their spot in a workshop to another person up to 7 days before the start of the workshop, provided that Art Manu is informed in writing at hello@artmanu.se and accepts the transfer.

A demo spot may be transferred to another person if Art Manu is informed in writing at hello@artmanu.se and accepts the transfer.

The person taking over the workshop spot or demo spot must accept these terms and meet any practical requirements that apply to the workshop or artist demo.

B. Product sales: artworks and other physical products

9. Product information

All artworks sold by Art Manu are original watercolours, limited edition prints or other art-related products, unless otherwise stated in the product description.

Each product description includes, where relevant, information such as size, medium, paper type, edition and whether the artwork is sold framed or unframed.

Minor colour variations may occur between product photos and the actual artwork due to differences in lighting, photography and screen display.

10. Pricing and payment

All prices are stated in SEK and include VAT where applicable.

Shipping costs are paid by the buyer, calculated and shown at checkout before the purchase is completed.

Payment is made in full at the time of purchase and can be made using the payment methods offered at checkout.

11. Shipping and delivery

Orders are normally shipped within 1–5 business days after payment has been received, unless otherwise stated on the product page or in the order confirmation.

Delivery times within Sweden and internationally may vary depending on destination and carrier.

Art Manu is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, postal services, customs handling or circumstances beyond Art Manu’s control.

The buyer is responsible for providing correct delivery information when placing the order. If a shipment is returned due to incorrect or incomplete address details, the buyer may be charged for new shipping.

12. Right of withdrawal for artworks and other physical products

Private consumers normally have the right to withdraw from purchases of physical products within 14 days from the day the product was received.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify Art Manu within 14 days of receiving the product. You can do this by contacting hello@artmanu.se or by using the withdrawal function available on the website.

When using the withdrawal function, you may need to provide your name, order number or other order reference, as well as contact details for confirmation. Once the withdrawal notice has been received, a confirmation will be sent by email or another durable medium.

After notifying us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than within 14 days. After 14 days, the right of withdrawal no longer applies.

The product must be returned in unchanged condition and in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging. The buyer is responsible for packing the product so that it is not damaged during return shipping.

Return shipping is paid by the buyer, unless otherwise stated or required by mandatory law.

Refunds are made once the returned product has been received and inspected, or when the buyer can show that the product has been sent back. The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

If the product has been handled more than necessary to determine its characteristics or condition, Art Manu may deduct an amount corresponding to the reduction in value from the refund.

13. Exceptions from the right of withdrawal for products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that have been made according to the customer’s instructions or that otherwise have a clear personal character, such as specially commissioned or personalized artworks.

The right of withdrawal also does not apply if the product has been damaged, altered or used in a way that means it cannot be returned in essentially unchanged condition, except for handling necessary to inspect the product.

14. Damaged or lost shipments

If a package arrives damaged, you must contact Art Manu at hello@artmanu.se as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of receipt.

Please include photos of the damage, the packaging and the product. Art Manu will then assist with a claim, replacement, repair or refund depending on the situation.

If a shipment is lost during transport, Art Manu will help investigate the matter with the carrier. Contact Art Manu at hello@artmanu.se if you suspect that a shipment has been lost.

C. Withdrawal function and contact channels

15. Withdrawal function on the website

In cases where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the consumer may use Art Manu’s withdrawal function on the website to notify Art Manu that the purchase is being withdrawn.

The withdrawal function is intended to make it easy to notify Art Manu of withdrawal and may require the consumer to confirm information such as name, order number or other order reference, as well as contact details for confirmation.

When a withdrawal notice has been submitted through the withdrawal function, a confirmation will be sent to the consumer by email or another durable medium.

The withdrawal function does not mean that the right of withdrawal applies to all types of purchases. For workshops and artist demos on specific dates or during specific time periods, the statutory right of withdrawal normally does not apply, as stated in section 6 above.

D. General terms

16. Copyright and use of materials

All materials, images and artworks created, used or sold by Art Manu are protected by copyright. The material may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, resold or used for commercial purposes without written permission from Art Manu. Photography or filming during workshops and artist demos is only permitted with the artist’s permission. Photography or filming must not disturb the teaching or demonstration, and any other participants who can be identified must give their consent.

17. Liability

Participation in workshops and artist demos is at your own risk. Art Manu is not responsible for personal belongings, travel, accommodation, loss of income or other indirect costs in connection with participation, cancellation, changes or cancelled workshops or artist demos, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.

Art Manu is not responsible for damage, losses or personal injury unless caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of Art Manu.

18. Personal data

Personal data provided when making a booking or purchase is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Art Manu uses personal data to manage bookings, purchases, payments, deliveries, customer communication and, where applicable, to send information about future workshops, artist demos or artworks. 19. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes should primarily be resolved through dialogue between the customer and Art Manu. Contact Art Manu at hello@artmanu.se if you have questions, complaints or wish to make a claim.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, the consumer may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN). Art Manu follows ARN’s recommendations where applicable.

Disputes may also be settled by a Swedish court.

20. Changes to the terms

Art Manu reserves the right to update these terms when necessary, for example due to changes in law, payment solutions or routines for booking, cancellation, delivery or the right of withdrawal.

The version of the terms that applies at the time of the booking or purchase applies to the relevant transaction.
