Workshop details

Take the chance to participate in a watercolor workshop with an internationally recognized watercolor artist and instructor, Konstantin Sterkhov. He is known for his seemingly effortless painting style and for sharing his technical discoveries with students.

His teaching method helps to fill gaps in understanding watercolor and to overcome such challenges as dryness and dullness in the works of his students.

For the workshop in Stockholm, he has chosen a subject that reveals the fluidity, transparency and effectivity of watercolor technique that makes his painting look loose and effortless.

During two intense days you have a great opportunity to learn new technical approaches, obtain skills of realistic and loose way of painting pets and flowers.

During the course, you will receive individual support and feedback from Konstantin.

The Location

The address of the premises is Granängsringen 60 in Tyresö.

The premises are located opposite the bus stop for bus 802, which runs from Gullmarsplan.

Food & Coffee

I will invite you to a daily coffee (two occasions). The timings of these occasions will be discussed with the guest artist.

You buy lunch yourself. Near the premises is a pizzeria and supermarket Hemköp. It is also possible to eat your own food in the room. There is also a refrigerator and a microwave to heat the food. 

It is possible to eat dinner in the Tyresö center and in other places within walking distance of both our local and the center.

Konstantin Sterkhov

Konstantin Sterkhov is a world-renowned watercolor artist, teacher, and author. Originally from Russia, he is now based in the UK on a prestigious Global Talent visa.

With more than 30 years of experience, Konstantin has inspired thousands of students worldwide through his books, workshops, and international exhibitions. He has written six volumes in the acclaimed Masters of Watercolor series, five technique books, and the Planet of Watercolor almanacs. His instructional videos with Artefacto School have become bestsellers, making his unique teaching style accessible to students everywhere.

Konstantin’s paintings are part of permanent museum collections in Mexico, Finland, Italy, and Russia. He has exhibited at many of the world’s most prestigious watercolor events, including Fabriano in Aquarello (Italy), the International Watercolour Masters Exhibition (England), and major shows in China, India, and beyond.
